County events among top 100 in province

ONTARIO - Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) recently announced the 2018 Top 100 Festivals & Events in Ontario. Local events listed in this year’s top 100 represent Wellington County from south to north.

These include:

- Erin Fall Fair:   Oct. 4-8, 2018

- Fergus Scottish Festival & Highland Games:   Aug. 10-12, 2018

- Guelph Hillside Festival:   July 13 - 15, 2018

- The Mount Forest Fireworks Festival:   July 20-22, 2018

Provincial events

Wellington County also takes part in the provincial Doors Open events.

The Doors Open website cites local events in Guelph on April 21, Erin on June 9, and Fergus-Elora on June 16.

Festivals & Events Ontario (FEO) was established in 1987 as an association devoted to the growth and stability of the festival and event industry in Ontario.
