CWDHS students receive lawn bowling instruction

New bowlers - The Elora Rocks Lawn Bowling Club hosted a Grade 12 class from Centre Wellington District High School on Sept. 20 for instruction and coaching in the art of lawn bowling. Pictured are teacher John Diamond, front row left, and his students with bowling coaches Dolly Guadagno-Simpson, kneeling in front, and Ken Simpson, centre back with red cap. The students enjoyed their time at the club and hope to return in the spring for more instruction, organizers say. The Elora Club welcomes young adults to come and try their hand at bowling. Free coaching is provided and the bowling season begins in mid May of each year.  Submitted photo
