David Morrison, a 28-year-old Guelph native, won the “Grand Championship 2017” in Superbike Series racing on Sunday Oct. 1 at Grand Bend Motor Plex. Morrison fought off his competitors in his class throughout the season and took the checkered flag in the final race on his Ninja 600 placing him first in the points standing. He has competed in the Southern Ontario Associates of Racing (SOAR) for the last five years. An awards banquet will be taking place this winter by SOAR where Morrison will receive his award. Morrison is thankful for the support of Cambridge Materials Testing, family and friends for his success.   Submitted photo
