Moments that Matter: Celebrating Canadian history in Belwood

Centre Wellington celebrated the countdown to Canada Day 2017 with events throughout the township. On June 28, the group moved to Maple Park in Belwood for “Moments that Matter: events that helped shape our history.” The event included storytelling, musical performances, display boards and re-enactments from a Viking village (circa 900AD) and a French-English encampment (circa 1600AD).
