Superstars are provincial champions

Superstars are provincial champions

CENTRE WELLINGTON - Fourteen members of the Superstars Baton Club competed in Kitchener at the annual CNBTA Provincial Championships on May 6 and 7.

Mackenzie Fraser of Arthur received two first place finishes and returned home the 2017 Novice Provincial 2Baton Champion.

Madisyn Gibbard received one first place finish and returned home the 2017 Junior Novice Miss Majorette of Ontario.

Alyssa George returned home the 2017 Intermediate Provincial 2Baton Champion and the Beginner Provincial 3Baton Champion.

Hayleigh Homer received two first place finishes.

Skylar Irwin received one first place finish.

Lyla Mae Kuntz received one first place finish.

Shayla Logel received one first place finish and returned home the 2017 Beginner Provincial Strut Champion.

Abigail Post returned home the 2017 Novice Solo Champion.

Elsie Post returned home the Advance Provincial Solo Champion, and the 2017 Preteen Miss Majorette of Ontario and Junior Provincial Cup winner.

Jadyn Worton received one first place and returned home the 2017 Novice Miss Majorette of Ontario.  

Jamie Green, Alexis Herriot, Paige Johnston and Mackenzie Worton also received podium finishes.

Duet team of George/Worton placed first in open duet and third in the provincial duet championship.

The teams “Bonita,” “Mission Impossible” and “Sound of Silence” each placed second for their performances.
