March break

The Wellington County Museum and Archives hosted a week-long celebration of the county’s sports champions during March break from March 13 to 17. The interactive exhibit featured a new sport each day, including racquet sports, curling, baseball, basketball, lacrosse and hockey. Children could make crafts, play ping pong and take photos with a green screen. A new sport featured is “pickle ball.” It is a ping pong and tennis hybrid with a special paddle and ball. Program assistant Kyle Smith, left, helped Spencer and Logan MacKay, along with their dad Kevin, with the rules of pickle ball.  Photo by Bill Longshaw
