Centre Wellington Fusion Atom ‘A’ finish season

FERGUS - The Centre Wellington Fusion Atom ‘A’ season has come to a end.

The Atom ‘A’ team had a great run through the playoffs, say officials. After losing out to the top team Dundas they went 4-1-1 through the Tri County playoffs.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to continue on. The team developed skills and team play throughout the year, coaches say, adding they are very proud of the whole team and the hard work players put in.

Scoring through the playoffs were (goals, assists): Eddie McDonald (18,11), Brinley Wilson (9,3), Jason Bottomley (6,2), Denver Feltham (1,8), Wyatt Marsland (3,2), Peyton Woods (1,3), Nathan Long (4 assists), Joe Columbus (1,3), Aidan Meyer (2,3), Nolan Byrd (3 assists), Rory Peters (3 assists), Josh Tosh (1 assist),  Kai Wycherley (1 assist) and Hailey Aitchison (2 assists).

Staff said the team’s goalies played great between the pipes, collecting four shutouts together, and they offered thanks to sponsors.
