![]() Residents at Birmingham Retirement Community joined in the Hearts for Hayden fundraisers held in Mount Forest on Feb. 11 by selling and delivering cans of Crush pop and handmade cards for $2 each in the days leading up to Valentine’s Day. Looking after sales are Bessie Small and Colleen Drier. Hayden Foulon of London, the four-year-old granddaughter of Wayne and Ruth Ann Rawn of Mount Forest, is battling acute lymphoblastia leukemia. Last Saturday was declared Hayden Foulon Day in Mount Forest with a fundraiser in the morning and a dance in the evening. Birmingham residents raised $655 in the first week of their “Crush” campaign. As of noon on Valentine’s Day, another $100 had been raised, with the fundraiser slated to continue until Feb. 17. Photo by Lynne Turner For my ‘Crush’February 17, 2017
