Elora Festival Singers offer holiday performances

ELORA - The Elora Festival Singers are set to perform their annual holiday tradition with two performances.

Performing Handel’s Messiah, the EFS will feature a chamber orchestra and soloists drawn from the choir. This concert is one of the highlights of the season for fans of the Grammy and Juno-nominated chamber choir, conducted by Noel Edison.

The Festival of Carols. will feature lighter seasonal music guaranteed and readings by Canon Robert Hulse, sure to  raise a few eyebrows.

Handel’s Messiah will be performed on Dec. 11 at 3pm at St. Mary’s Church, in Elora.

Three performances of the Festival of Carols will take place on Dec. 20 at 7:30pm, and Dec. 21 at 5pm and 7:30pm at St. John’s Anglican Church in Elora.

Tickets for these performances can be purchased by calling 519-846-0331, or online at www.elorafestival.com.
